15 May 2018
Genazzano FCJ College is proud to announce that four students, who completed VCE subjects in 2017, are the recipients of the Premier’s VCE Awards.
These awards recognise top performing students for their outstanding academic achievements in the Victorian Certificate of Education (VCE).
Emma Barham was one of only 23 students across the state who received the award for Top All-Round VCE High Achiever. The Top All-Round VCE High Achiever Award is awarded to students who have achieved very high study scores in at least five VCE studies.
Emma Barham is pursuing a career in medicine after she enjoys a GAP year working and tutoring other VCE students.
Additionally, three Genazzano students received Premier’s Study Awards which recognise students who achieved the top result in a single subject. Bridget Miles for Italian, Giulia Scopece for Product Design and Technology and Mia Terzo for Studio Arts.
The Premier’s VCE Awards recognises the outstanding results of the individual students and pays tribute to the principals, teachers and families who play a valuable role in supporting these students during their VCE studies.
Genazzano continues to create a culture of excellence in a supportive learning environment encouraging young women to lead and inspire others and go confidently into the world.
