A total of 72 girls have represented the College across four different competition days at Lakeside Stadium with some incredible results including State Championship victories, numerous school and GSV records and most importantly a plethora of personal best achievements.

GSV Finals Night

With our senior stars again leading the way, we collected an impressive tally of medals and school records. It was hard however to go past the Year 12 100m as the highlight, with our Gen girls claiming an unprecedented clean sweep of the podium.

Victorian Schools Knockout Final

Chasing back to back senior team titles, our girls pushed themselves to the absolute limits. In what is a night all about team success it is hard not to mention each girl individually. Anna Bush lead from the front with two victories and a second place; Olivia Owen again lowered her 100m PB and officially became the fastest Gen girl in the history of the College; Emma Barham completed an amazing 800/1500m double for two PBs within 90mins; Eliza O’Donnell produced another 400m PB; Year 9 Alissa Ramsdale stood up in the senior team with a gutsy 1500m; year 12 throwers Charlotte Kennedy and Annabel Sharkey provided valuable team points and Emma Gray topped off 7 games of netball at the schoolgirls State Championships with an excellent 100m and 400m relay leg.

As a result of the individual success our girls won the senior division gold medal, whilst in great show of squad depth our second team also placed 5th overall in the same competition. With this victory, our girls have qualified for the National Championship Final in Adelaide in December.
