Our FCJ heritage challenges the Genazzano school community to offer companionship to each other and beyond to the wider community.
The Companionship Program reflects the mission of the Sisters Faithful Companions of Jesus. It enables students to visit members of the wider community with the intention of offering them assistance and a deeper appreciation of their needs.
Students from Genazzano attend placements where they can contribute to the lives of others in a spirit of community service. The girls are encouraged to seek an understanding of how they can companion others through sharing their individual talents and learning to appreciate the difficulties many people face in their daily lives. This endeavour assists the girls to fulfil the ideals of an FCJ education, and is also in keeping with our Ignatian tradition of seeking to find God in all things.
Following on from the Companionship program, many students choose to continue their contribution to the wider community by volunteering in a wide variety of different organisations.
